  • 1 whole chicken cut-up into 8 pieces
  • 4 carrots sliced
  • 4 stalks celery coarsely chopped
  • 16 ounces spaghetti sauce
  • 10 ounces water
  • 8 ounces Bertolli noodles, ziti or rigatoni
  • 2 bayleafs
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Put all ingredients except pasta in large stock pot on top of stove. Simmer on medium heat until chicken is cooked thoroughly - about one and one half hours. Add pasta to pot. Cook an additional fifteen minutes. Serve with Italian or French bread.
