Chicken Supreme

Ingredients

  • 1/2 stick butter or margarine
  • 1 c. long grain rice or wild rice (do not use Minute rice)
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 3/4 can water
  • 6 to 8 chicken breasts or pieces of chicken

Directions

    Wash rice and place in melted butter in an oblong baking dish. Spread over bottom of dish.

    Take 1/2 can of each of the soups and mix with the 3/4 can of water.

    Pour over rice.

    Place chicken pieces in casserole on top of rice and soup mixture.

    Mix the other 1/2 can of each of the 3 soups together (no water added) and pour over chicken.

    Bake 2 1/2 hours at 275°.
