  • 1 (2 1/2-3 lb) whole chickens, cut up
  • fresh ginger, grated (to taste)
  • 12 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 14 teaspoon pepper

    Cut chicken into small pieces and place in pan.

    Grate fresh ginger over chicken.

    Mix soy sauce, sugar, salt, and pepper.

    Pour mixture over chicken and marinate for 3-4 hours or overnight.
