- 1/4 c. soy sauce
- 1/3 c. honey
- 1/3 c. sherry
- 1 whole broiler-fryer (3 lb.)
Directions

1In small cooking bag, mix soy sauce, honey and sherry.

2Add chicken to bag and tie open end securely with plastic strip cut from open end of bag.

3Turn chicken on its side and place in 12 x 8 x 2-inch dish.

4Marinate in refrigerator 1 to 2 hours, turning chicken over after 1/2 of time.

5To microwave, place bird, breast side up, in dish.

6Slash bag near closure.

7Insert temperature probe through the bag into meatiest part of inner thigh, from below the end of and parallel to the leg.

8Microwave at Medium-high (7). Set temperature, 190°.

9When oven signals, remove chicken.

10Prepare Teriyaki Sauce and finish chicken as described.
