Chicken Vegetable Bisque

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or oleo
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can cream of potato soup
  • 2 soup cans milk
  • 10 oz. pkg. mixed vegetables or 1 can Veg-All, drained
  • 7 oz. can boned chicken, drained
  • 2 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp. hot sauce
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. black pepper

Directions

    Cook onions in butter until tender; add remaining ingredients. Heat, stirring occasionally.

    (May need more milk, lemon juice, hot sauce (go easy) and salt.)

    Makes 7 cups.
