Chicken Yakisoba

Ingredients

  • 2 packets Yakisoba noodles - about 5.5 oz each packet
  • 2 meats chicken thigh, diced
  • 2 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1 small carrot - julienned
  • 3 shiitake mushrooms - cut small
  • 1/2 onion - sliced thinly
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • salt to taste
  • 3 tablespoons water

Directions

    Combined all the yakisoba sauce ingredients in a small bowl and mix well. Set it aside. Microwave the yakisoba noodles for a minute in the microwave.

    Heat up 3 tbsp of vegetable oil in a wok or skillet on medium heat. Add in the onions and chicken and stir fry it until the chicken is almost cooked. Add in the carrot and cabbage and continue to stir fry for a minute.

    Add in the noodles follow by the yakisoba sauce. Continue to toss and turn the noodles until well mixed with the sauce. Cook it for another minute.
