- 6 Tbsp. oil
- 2 medium sliced onions
- 1 tsp. pulped ginger
- 1 tsp. pulped garlic
- 1 tsp. ground cumin
- 1 tsp. ground coriander
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 2 green peppers
- fresh coriander leaves
- water
- 1 large potato
- 1 (14 oz.) can chickpeas
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
Directions

1Heat the oil in a saucepan.

2Fry sliced onion until golden brown.

3Lower heat and add all the spices, the green chilies and fresh coriander.

4Stir-fry for 2 minutes.

5Add water.

6Peel and dice potatoes and add this with the chickpeas.

7Cover and simmer for 5 to 7 minutes.

8Sprinkle with lemon juice.
