- 1 clove garlic, minced or garlic powder
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 2 (16 oz.) stewed tomatoes, chopped
- 2 (8 oz.) tomato sauce
- 1 c. boiling water
- 2 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. oregano, crushed
- 1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans
Directions

1Saute onion and garlic in oil for a few minutes.

2Stir in beef and saute until done.

3Drain off fat.

4Stir in tomatoes and tomato sauce, water, kidney beans (drained) and all seasonings.

5Cover and cook over low or simmer in crock-pot.
