- 2 1/2 to 3 lb. stew meat
- 2 to 3 cubes (tsp.) bouillon
- 1 c. water
- 1 c. diced onion
- 2 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1 large can stewed tomatoes
- 2 to 3 large cans Ranch Style beans
- tortilla chips
- grated cheese
Directions

1In a heavy pan (I use a Dutch oven) cook the small pieces of stew meat on a low heat, covered, for 30 minutes.

2Uncover and raise heat to brown.

3Remove meat.

4Add 1 cup water and bouillon. Simmer onion and chili powder.

5Add tomatoes and Ranch Style beans. Stir meat back in and simmer 30 minutes or more.

6Serve with tortilla chips.

7Top with grated cheese.
