- 10 lb. coarsely ground meat
- 2 Tbsp. minced garlic
- 4 c. chopped onion
- 4 to 8 chili pods (according to how hot you like it)
- 4 Tbsp. salt
- 3 qt. tomato juice
- 1 lb. cooked, mashed pinto beans
- 4 to 6 c. cracker or bread crumbs, finely crumbled
- 1 lb. ground suet
- 1/4 c. chili powder
- 4 Tbsp. cumin
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
Directions

1Roll the meat in all the flour you can get to stick.

2Cook in a large pot until gray; stir often, do not brown.

3Add 3 quarts water, then add remaining ingredients through the tomato juice, cooking very slowly.

4Add the beans and crumbs last.

5Simmer in large pot or electric roaster.

6May be frozen.

7Makes 50 cups.
