- 1 Tbsp. shortening
- 2 tsp. powdered cumin
- 4 tsp. chopped garlic
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1/4 c. chili powder
- 1/2 c. onion, chopped
Directions

1Brown meat.

2Drain.

3Add garlic and onion.

4Brown lightly. Add water and cook 15 minutes, covered.

5Mix cumin, salt, flour, pepper and chili powder.

6Mix in cooked meat.

7Simmer on low heat for 30 minutes.
