- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 3 medium tomatoes, chopped
- 1 small pkg. mushrooms
- 3 cans red beans
- 1 medium bell pepper, chopped
- 1 medium can tomato sauce
- salt and pepper to taste
- chili powder to taste (I use 1/2 small can)
Directions

1Brown ground beef and set aside.

2In a large skillet, place beans, tomato sauce, chopped tomatoes, mushrooms, salt, pepper and chili powder.

3Now add browned meat and mix well.

4Put on stove on low heat for 1 to 2 hours.

5One-half hour before serving, add onion and bell pepper; cook until slightly soft.

6Ready to eat!
