- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef, cooked and drained
- 1 large can tomato sauce
- 1 (8 oz.) can V-8 juice
- 1/4 c. chili powder
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 medium potato, finely diced
- 1/8 c. minced garlic
- 2 cans pinto beans, drained
- salt and pepper to taste
- Texas Pete to taste (I use 2 tsp.)
Directions

1Brown ground beef; drain grease.

2Add onions and cook about 3 minutes.

3Add tomato sauce, tomato juice, chili powder, beans, potatoes and garlic.

4Cook covered about 2 hours.

5Add salt and pepper to taste.

6Add Texas Pete.
