Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef, cooked and drained
  • 1 large can tomato sauce
  • 1 (8 oz.) can V-8 juice
  • 1/4 c. chili powder
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 medium potato, finely diced
  • 1/8 c. minced garlic
  • 2 cans pinto beans, drained
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • Texas Pete to taste (I use 2 tsp.)

Directions

    Brown ground beef; drain grease.

    Add onions and cook about 3 minutes.

    Add tomato sauce, tomato juice, chili powder, beans, potatoes and garlic.

    Cook covered about 2 hours.

    Add salt and pepper to taste.

    Add Texas Pete.
