- 2 cans crushed tomatoes (1 lb. 12 oz. size)
- 1 can red kidney beans (1 lb. 12 oz. size)
- 1/4 to 1/2 can chili powder (1.25 oz. size)
- 1/2 to 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 3 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1 1/2 to 2 lb. hamburg
Directions

1Brown hamburg and onion in a large pot.

2Drain grease.

3Add sugar and chili powder.

4Stir for a minute.

5Add tomatoes, beans and vinegar.

6Add 1/2 cup water.

7Stir well.

8Cook 10 minutes, tasting occasionally.

9Add more vinegar, sugar or chili powder to taste.

10Simmer 1/2 hour.

11Can be served with corn muffins.
