  • 3/4 lb. ground beef
  • 1 c. chopped onion
  • 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
  • 1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 3 tsp. chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper

Directions

    In a large saucepan, cook ground beef, onion, green pepper and garlic until meat is brown.

    Drain fat and stir in tomatoes, kidney beans, tomato sauce, chili powder, salt and pepper.

    Bring to boiling.

    Reduce heat and cover; simmer for 20 minutes.
