Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef or turkey
  • 1 small green pepper, chopped
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 can pinto beans, drained
  • 1 medium can stewed tomatoes
  • 1 dash Texas Pete hot sauce
  • 1/2 bottle hickory smoked barbecue sauce (may use regular barbecue sauce)
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 dash lemon pepper
  • 1 dash garlic salt, oregano and chili powder

Directions

    Saute pepper and onion.

    Brown meat and drain excess fat.

    Mix all ingredients together and simmer for 30 to 40 minutes.

    Put in crock-pot and serve.
