- 2 pounds ground chuck
- 1/2 cup onions (diced)
- 1/2 cup green peppers (diced)
- 1 large can diced tomatoes
- 1 large can tomato sauce
- 1/4 cup cumin
- 2 tablespoons garlic powder
- 1 package Lipton Onion Soup Mix
- 1 can red kidney beans (with Juice)
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 2 ounces maize flour or 3 ounces all-purpose flour
Directions

1In a large skillet brown ground chuck with onions and peppers; drain.

2Place in a large sauce pan.

3Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, cumin, garlic powder, soup mix, kidney beans and juice, red pepper flakes.

4Simmer 1 hour.

5Make a paste with flour and add to mixture.

6Stir well to thicken.

7If too thick add tomato juice to thin.
