  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 29 oz. can tomato sauce
  • 29 oz. can kidney beans and liquid
  • 29 oz. can pinto beans and liquid
  • medium onion, chopped
  • 2 tsp. cumin powder
  • 3 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 15 oz. can crushed tomato with green chili

Directions

    Brown ground beef in skillet on medium heat.

    Drain off fat. Using fork, crumble ground beef into pea size pieces.

    In large pot combine beef and remaining ingredients.

    Bring to a simmer over low heat.

    Cook, stirring every 15 minutes for about 2 to 3 hours.
