- 1/2 c. onions, chopped
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1/4 lb. butter
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. seasoned salt
- 1 Tbsp. garlic salt (or 1 clove garlic)
- 2 (16 oz.) cans kidney beans or Van Camp's Mexican chili beans
- 1/4 c. catsup
- 1 Tbsp. Tabasco sauce
- 1 tsp. Chili powder
- 1 (8 oz.) can mushrooms
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
- 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, stewed or whole, chopped
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato and herbs sauce
Directions

1Brown meat and onions in olive oil.

2Drain.

3Add butter, salts and garlic.

4Mix thoroughly.

5Add remaining ingredients.

6Simmer for 2 hours, covered,in a large pot or Dutch oven, over low heat.
