Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. chopped onions
  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 (20 oz.) can tomatoes
  • 1 (20 oz.) can kidney beans
  • 3 c. water

Directions

    Combine onions, ground beef, salt and chili powder in skillet. Cook on low heat until browned.

    Combine tomatoes and beans in saucepan.

    Add 3 cups of water to make approximately 8 cups.

    Add meat mixture.

    Simmer slowly for 1 hour before serving.
