- 1/2 c. chopped onions
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 1 (20 oz.) can tomatoes
- 1 (20 oz.) can kidney beans
- 3 c. water
Directions

1Combine onions, ground beef, salt and chili powder in skillet. Cook on low heat until browned.

2Combine tomatoes and beans in saucepan.

3Add 3 cups of water to make approximately 8 cups.

4Add meat mixture.

5Simmer slowly for 1 hour before serving.
