- 2 (14 1/2 oz.) cans tomatoes
- 1 1/2 lb. coarsely ground chuck, browned and drained
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1/2 green pepper, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 2 to 3 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. ground cumin
- salt to taste

4Cover and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours, on high for 3 to 4 hours.
