- 1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
- 1 (14 1/2 oz.) can peeled whole tomatoes
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1/2 tsp. allspice
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 Tbsp. white vinegar
- 3 bay leaves
- 1 (29 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 toe garlic
Directions

1Brown ground beef and onion.

2Drain off grease.

3Place meat mixture in large pan or crock-pot.

4Add remaining ingredients. Cook slowly for 4 to 5 hours, covered.

5Remove bay leaves and garlic before serving.

6Serve on bed of spaghetti and top with grated cheese.
