  • 1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
  • 1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes (undrained)
  • 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
  • 1 to 2 (1 lb.) cans kidney beans (undrained)
  • 3 tsp. instant minced onions
  • 1 to 2 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 2 to 3 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 c. red wine
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar

Directions

    Crumble beef into a 2 1/2 to 3-quart casserole.

    Cook on High until cooked through.

    Add remaining ingredients; stir.

    Cover and microwave on High (until temperature reaches 190°) approximately 40 to 45 minutes.

    Stir chili and rotate dish halfway through cooking.

    After cooking, let stand 10 minutes to blend flavors.
