- 10 lb. ground beef, browned and drained
- 2 Tbsp. salt
- 3/4 Tbsp. pepper
- 2 Tbsp. chili powder
- 2 Tbsp. garlic powder
- 2 c. water
- 9 oz. frozen chopped onions
- 12 oz. tomato paste
- 2 (16 oz.) cans kidney beans or pinto beans, drained
Directions

1Drain meat, removing excess fat.

2Put meat in roaster pan. Add seasonings to taste.

3Cook onions in water; add to pan of meat.

4Add tomato paste.

5Drain beans and add to meat; mix well. Divide chili between two roaster pans.

6Add enough water to make a medium texture of chili.

7Not too thick, not too thin.

8Heat oven to 350° and let simmer until piping hot, about 1 hour.

9Serves 40.
