- 2 lb. chuck or round steak, cut up in chunks
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 2 Tbsp. margarine or oil
- 16 oz. can tomatoes
- 1/2 c. onion, chopped
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 c. green pepper, diced
- 1 can Campbell's chili beef soup
- cooked rice
Directions

1Trim fat; cut meat into thin strips or cubes.

2Sprinkle with flour.

3In skillet, brown meat in oil; pour off fat and add tomatoes, water, onion and chili powder.

4Cover; cook over low heat for 1 hour.

5Stir now and then, add soup and green peppers.

6Cook, covered, 1/2 hour more or until tender.

7Serve over rice.
