- 1 c. cornmeal
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 3 eggs
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 1/2 c. melted butter
- 1 c. creamed corn
- 4 oz. chopped chiles
- 2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1/4 tsp. salt
Directions

1Mix dry ingredients together.

2In another bowl, beat eggs lightly.

3Add buttermilk, butter and creamed corn.

4Blend with dry ingredients; pour one third of batter into a 9-inch pan.

5Pour in one half of chiles and one half of the cheese.

6Pour remaining batter in pan and top with rest of chiles and cheese.

7Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
