- 2 lb. ground meat
- 1/4 to 1/2 c. chili powder to taste
- 3 to 4 (1 lb.) cans pinto beans
- 3 to 4 (1 lb.) cans stewed tomatoes
- water
- whole kernel corn
- crackers
Directions

1Brown ground meat.

2Drain off excess fat.

3In large gumbo pot, combine cooked meat and chili powder.

4While on medium heat, stir in beans, tomatoes and water (to taste).

5Bring to boil; reduce to simmer and cook for 30 minutes.

6Serve over crumbled crackers and top with warmed corn.
