Ingredients

  • 2 to 2 1/2 lb. hamburger meat (ground chuck)
  • 2 qt. tomatoes, crushed
  • 2 (15 oz.) cans light red kidney beans
  • 1 chili block
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1 1/2 large onions
  • 1 1/2 large bell peppers
  • 1 tsp. Accent
  • 2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 2 tsp. black pepper
  • pinch of red cayenne pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. game seasoning
  • 1 tsp. all-purpose flour (Carls)
  • 1/2 c. onion bits
  • 2 Tbsp. hot sauce

Directions

    Brown hamburger meat with small amount of seasonings.

    Add onion bits; cook until done.

    Set aside.

    Saute onions and bell peppers in oil; drain.

    Add to hamburger meat.

    Add tomatoes, kidney beans, chili block and seasonings.

    Stir.

    Cook for about 2 1/2 hours.

    Makes 1 gallon.
