  • 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 lb. Italian sausage
  • 2 medium onions, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp. instant minced garlic
  • 1 (16 to 20 oz.) can pinto or red kidney beans
  • 1 (14 1/2 to 16 oz.) can stewed tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 to 3 Tbsp. chili powder

Directions

    Brown ground beef and Italian sausage in a skillet; then put everything in a stock pot.

    Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low and simmer for around 1 hour.
