Ingredients
- 4 green peppers
- 1/3 c. chopped onion
- 1/3 c. chopped celery
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1 (15 1/2 oz.) can chili with beans
- 1 c. cooked rice
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
- 2 slices Swiss cheese, cut in strips
Directions

1Heat oven to 375°.

2Remove tops and seeds from peppers.

3Cook 5 minutes in salted boiling water; drain.

4Saute onion and celery in butter.

5Stir in chili, rice, salt and garlic powder.

6Spoon mixture into peppers.

7Place stuffed peppers in an 8-inch square baking dish.

8Bake for 25 minutes.

9Top with cheese strips.

10Heat 5 minutes or until cheese melts.
