- 12 oz. hot Italian sausage links
- 12 oz. ground beef
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 3 large garlic cloves, minced
- 1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes in tomato puree
- 3 peppers, cut into bite-size pieces
- 1 (15 to 19 oz.) can red kidney beans, drained
- 3 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Directions

1Remove sausage from casings.

2Crumble sausage and beef into 4-quart casserole.

3Stir in onion and garlic.

4Cook, covered, on high 8 to 10 minutes until meat loses its pink color, stirring twice during cooking.

5Spoon off and discard drippings.

6Into casserole, stir tomatoes and remaining ingredients.

7Cook, covered, on high 20 to 24 minutes until peppers are tender; stir twice during cooking.
