Chilled Asparagus With Parmesan

- 1 pound fresh asparagus
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1/8 teaspoon bottled minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon preshredded fresh Parmesan cheese
Directions

1Snap off tough ends of asparagus; arrange spokelike on a 12-inch round glass platter with stems toward outside of platter. Cover with plastic wrap, turning back a small portion of edge to vent. Microwave at HIGH 3 minutes, turning dish once.

2While asparagus cooks, combine lemon juice and remaining 3 ingredients.

3Drain asparagus, and plunge into ice water until chilled. Drain well and place on serving platter. Pour juice mixture over asparagus, and chill thoroughly.
