  • 1 lb. beef
  • 2 medium onions, chopped
  • 1 large green pepper
  • 1 (1 lb. 12 oz.) can tomatoes or 1 qt. home canned tomatoes
  • 2 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. cayenne red pepper
  • 1/8 tsp. paprika
  • 1 can kidney beans, drained

Directions

    Cook and stir beef, onion and green pepper in large skillet until meat is brown and onion is tender.

    Drain off fat.

    Stir in remaining ingredients except beans.

    Heat to boiling, then reduce heat to low.

    Cover and simmer 2 hours, stirring occasionally. Stir in beans and heat to boiling.

    Cook, uncovered, 5 minutes.
