  • 3/4 pounds, 2-1/8 ounces, weight Tenderstem Broccoli
  • 4 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 2 whole Large Red Chilies, Deseeded And Finely Sliced
  • 4 cloves Garlic, Minced
  • Salt And Black Pepper To Taste

Directions

    Cut the heads off the broccoli and place them to one side. Cut the leftover stems into approximately 1-1/4 inch pieces. Discard any tough ends.

    Heat the olive oil in a frying pan and add the chopped stems. Fry for approximately 3 minutes. Next, add the chilli, garlic and broccoli heads and fry for a further 2 minutes.

    Add salt and pepper to taste and serve immediately.
