  • 2 onion
  • 4 clove garlic
  • 15 curry leaves
  • 1 scotch bonnet
  • 2 tbsp Chillie sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyester sauce
  • 2 tsp pepper powder
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 2 tsp chillie powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 lemon
  • 2 tsp chillie flakes
  • 500 grams chicken
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 pinch red food color

Directions

    Squeeze the lemon on to cut chicken pieces with salt

    Add all the remaining ingredients accept butter into the mixture and blend to make a paste
  3. 3
    Add the this paste to the chicken and mix to coat well (i add a little red food color in this step but its optional)

    Marinate the chicken in the paste for 30-60 min (depends on the time at hand)

    Melt the butter and add the marinated chicken along with all the paste

    Cook until chicken is tender

    Check the salt taste and add more if required

    If the gravy is less, add a bit of water to adjust the gravy thickness
