- 1 lb. beef stew meat
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 (4 oz.) green chili peppers, diced
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 1/4 tsp. ground cumin
- dash of pepper
- 6 flour tortillas
- oil
- shredded lettuce
- sour cream
- picante sauce
Directions

1Cook meat, water, garlic and salt 1 1/2 hours until tender. Uncover and boil 12 minutes.

2Shred meat and add peppers, vinegar, chili powder, cumin and pepper.

3Heat until warm.

4Fill warmed tortilla and wrap or roll up envelope fashion.

5Cook 3 tortillas in 1 inch of hot oil, about a minute on each side until brown. Drain.

6Add garnishes.
