  • 14 cup oil
  • 2 -2 12 lbs broiling chicken, cut up
  • 12 cup cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 12 teaspoon msg
  • 14 teaspoon pepper
  • 12 teaspoon sugar
  • 14 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sherry wine
  • 2 green peppers, diced
  • 2 onions, sliced
  • 1 (9 ounce) can crushed pineapple
  • bamboo shoot, drained
  • 1 (4 ounce) can water chestnuts, drained and sliced
  • 1 (8 ounce) can bean sprouts
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar

Directions

    Heat oil in a large skillet.

    Dip chicken parts in mixture of cornstarch, salt, MSG, pepper and sugar.

    Brown all sides.

    Add soy sauce and wine; cover and cook for 10 minutes.

    Remove chicken and set aside.

    Mix together all remaining ingredients in the skillet and cook over high heat for 1 minute.

    Place chicken on top, cover and lower heat and cook for 10 minutes longer.
