Chinese Style Rice

  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tsp. oil
  • 3/4 c. water
  • 4 tsp. Kikkoman soy sauce
  • 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/4 c. chopped onions
  • 1 c. Minute rice
  • 4 oz. can mushrooms, drained

Directions

    Scramble egg in oil in saucepan, stirring to break into pieces.

    Add water, soy sauce, garlic and onions. Bring to a boil. Stir in rice and mushrooms. Cover, remove from heat and let stand 5 minutes. Fluff with fork before serving.
