  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 3 oz. dried beef, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 c. finely chopped green pepper
  • 1/4 c. chopped pecans
  • 1/2 c. sour cream
  • 2 Tbsp. minced onion
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
  • 2 Tbsp. milk
  • 2 Tbsp. butter with 1/2 tsp. salt

    Combine softened cream cheese, sour cream and beef; beat with mixer.

    Melt butter with salt and brown pecans.

    Stir 1/2 of pecans into beef mixture.

    Add onion, green pepper and seasonings. Put into small baking dish and sprinkle with remaining pecans. Cover with foil and bake at 375° for 20 minutes.

    Serve warm with crackers.
