  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1/2 c. Crisco
  • 1 c. water
  • 4 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon

Directions

    Melt and bring to a boil the margarine, Crisco, water and cocoa; set aside.

    Sift flour and sugar together; set aside.

    Add soda to buttermilk.

    Let set five minutes.

    Combine buttermilk, eggs, vanilla and cinnamon.

    Combine all ingredients and bake in 9 x 13-inch floured and greased pan at 350° for 30 minutes.
