  • 4 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1 stick butter
  • 2 eggs, well beaten
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 2 c. plain flour
  • 1 tsp. salt

Directions

    Bring water, cocoa and butter to a boil in saucepan. Combine remaining ingredients in mixing bowl. Pour boiled mixture over combined mixture and mix well. Bake in sheet pan for 20 minutes at 400°. When baked, ice with frosting.
