  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2/3 c. Crisco oil
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 2 c. water

    Mix first 5 ingredients together.

    Add the other 4 ingredients.

    Pour into 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan (do not grease or flour).

    Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until cake tests done at 350°. Serves 12 to 15.
