  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 c. Crisco oil
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. cold black coffee
  • 3/4 c. cocoa
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. baking powder

    Beat on low speed for 4 minutes; pour into pans or pan lined with wax paper.

    Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes if 9-inch pans; 30 to 40 minutes if a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
