- 1 c. butter or margarine
- 2 c. sugar
- 3 c. sifted Swans Down
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 4 eggs
- 1 c. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. almond extract
Directions

1Cream butter, gradually add sugar, creaming until light and fluffy.

2Beat 1 minute on electric mixer or longer by hand.

3Sift baking powder, flour and salt.

4Add eggs, one at a time to creamed mixture beating well after each addition.

5Add flour mixture alternating with milk and flavoring, beating after each addition until smooth.

6Bake at 350° about 35 to 40 minutes.

7Frost with favorite can frosting.
