  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 4 heaping Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1 c. water
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Mix sugar, flour, cocoa, cinnamon, eggs and soda in large bowl.

    Heat margarine and water to a boil.

    Add to dry ingredients; mix well.

    Add buttermilk and vanilla.
  5. 5
    Mix well. Pour into 13 x 9 x 2-inch greased pan and bake about 20 minutes in 400° oven.
