  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 stick oleo
  • 4 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Sift sugar, flour, soda and cinnamon together and set aside. In saucepan, mix water, oleo, oil and cocoa.

    Heat to boiling, then remove from heat.

    Add milk, eggs and vanilla to flour mixture, then add rest of ingredients and mix well.

    Pour into greased and floured pan.

    Bake at 400° for 20 minutes.
