  • 1 1/4 c. flour
  • 1/3 c. Hershey's cocoa
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 6 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. milk (can use low-fat)
  • 1 Tbsp. white vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Mix flour, cocoa and soda; set aside.

    Melt butter in saucepan; stir in sugar.

    Remove from heat.

    Add milk, vinegar and vanilla; stir.

    Add dry ingredients; whisk until well blended. Pour into 2 (8-inch) round pans or 1 (10-inch) square pan.

    Bake about 20 minutes.

    Cool; frost with Coconut Pecan Icing.
