Ingredients

  • 4 large eggs beaten
  • 60 ml Milk I used semi skimmed
  • 180 grams unsalted butter melted
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 300 grams plain flour
  • 5 grams baking powder
  • 6 grams bicarbonate of soda
  • 210 grams caster sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 70 grams cocoa powder

Directions

    Beat eggs and add all the wet ingredients and mix together, then pour into bread machine pan.

    Mix all dry ingredients together then pour over wet ingredients in the bread machine pan and level out

    Choose cake setting and crust to dark and start machine.

    Carefully take out pan leave to cool a little and cut.

    Can be bagged into portions & frozen..

    Serve with cream, ice cream or on its own.

    We warm it up for 20 second in microwave and serve with homemade ice cream...
