- 1 (11 1/2 oz.) pkg. Nestle milk chocolate morsels
- 2 Tbsp. shortening
- 1 pkg. Kraft caramels
- 4 Tbsp. margarine
- 3 Tbsp. water
- 1 c. pecan halves
Directions

1Melt half of the chocolate bits and 1 tablespoon of shortening in a double boiler over hot (not boiling) water.

2Stir until smooth.

3Line an 8-inch square pan with wax paper.

4Pour in melted chocolate; spread smoothly.

5Refrigerate until firm (about 15 minutes).
