  • 8 ounces cream cheese (room temperature)
  • 1 egg
  • 13 cup white sugar
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 12 cups flour
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 14 teaspoon cocoa
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 12 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 13 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

    Cream together cream cheese, egg, 1/3 cup sugar and pinch of salt.

    Stir in chocolate chips, set aside.

    In a large bowl, combine flour, 1 cup of sugar, cocoa, baking soda, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt.

    Add milk oil, vinegar and vanilla to flour mixture, mix well.

    Line muffin tins with large paper liners.

    Fill each muffin tin with 1/3 and cake batter.

    Drop a large spoonful of cheese mixture on top.
